Our Story
While spending the last 10 years cooking in fine dining restaurants here in Victoria, Vancouver and Europe Jeff realized that it was the simple foods that inspired him the most. That coupled with a love of slow food brought on the idea of Pig. After an extensive eating tour of the southern US Jeff came back inspired to open an homage to what he saw on his travels, a comfortable hole in the wall joint where it's all about the smoked meat. This move also brings him on step closer to his eventual dream of dying with more undigested meat in his stomach than John Wayne.
